Description: The EXHEAT® 'HJ' range of side drum heaters are a simple and effective method of applying heat to drums. Four standard sizes are available for drums 25L, 50L, 105L and most popular,200L. The 'HJ' is specifically designed for use with plastic drums but can be used on any containers where delicate materials require gentle warming. It can also be used in conjunction with the 'HBD' base drum heater to increase product heat-up. Non-standard sizes are available upon request.

Typical Application

  • Melting of low melting point solids such as paraffin, resins, chocolate, soaps and fats.
  • Increase flow of thick viscous liquids such as syrup, honey, paint, varnishes and oil based products.
These low powered, earthed heaters are constructed to Class I for added safety. The heating element of the 'HJ' range is stitched into an insulated jacket made from a water-resistant, flame retardent, polyurethane nylon, insulated with flame retardent needled polyester, complete with quick release buckles for ease of installation and removal.
