Description: Process Heating skid modules can be engineered to meet specific client requirements. Process heaters from our range of standard designs or custom engineered heaters can be incorporated within the skid design to meet your application requirements. Modules suitable for Zone 1 and Class I / Div 2 Hazardous Areas or safe area installation can be offered.
Single point piping connections for flow and return.
Single point terminations for field power and instrumentation cabling.
Optional stainless steel terminal box and control panel.
Pre-wired for ease of installation.
Ingress Protection rating up to IP55 (IEC) or NEMA 4x (NEC) suitable for outdoor installation. (Higher IP ratings can be supplied where control panel mounted seperately).
Thermal Insulation.
EXHEAT® design and manufacture gas heating and gas conditioning skids of various sizes and content for use in Zone 1 & 2 or Class I, Div 1 or Div 2 Hazardous Areas. A typical application is for conditioning natural gas used as fuel by modern turbines in power generation plants for both offshore and onshore installations. The gas conditioning skids can consist of pressure reduction/regulation, preheating and superheating for dew point control, filtration etc. Packages can involve simple designs such as skid mounting the heaters or complete gas conditioning skids comprising KO drums, filters, electric heaters, valves, pipe work and all instrumentation / control equipment. Systems can be supplied suitable for inlet pressures up to 400 bar g and manufactured from various materials including Low Temperature Carbon Steel, Stainless Steels, 22% Cr Duplex 6Mo etc to the specific gas composition and environment. Thyristor control panels are generally supplied to control the heaters and can be skid mounted if necessary, but are usually supplied for location in a safe area (switch room). Electric Heaters can be single units up to 5000 kW or multi-units for ease of maintenance or larger load configurations. Electric heaters elements are manufactured from corrosion resistant sheath materials e.g. Incoloy 800. Other materials such as Inconel, Titanium etc. are also available to suit on gas composition.
