Trainee Engineer

Responsible to The Senior Project Engineer

You will work and gain experience within the Petrochemical Division Engineering office.

You will learn and become responsible for the preparation of engineering documentation / drawings and compilation of technical manuals at completion. A methodical and organised approach to work is required.

Building good working relationships with customers is key to EXHEAT® business. You will be expected to learn the full product range and in time answer technical questions from customers. The company will provide technical product training.

Working within the Document Control Department, you will gain experience in the control and transmission of technical documents and drawings to customers as well as the generation of technical documentation as required by the Project Engineers.

The successful applicant should ideally have the following attributes:-

GCSE English and Maths
A technical aptitude
Fully conversant with Microsoft Office
Experience with a technical drawing package e.g. AutoCAD
Numeric ability
Good written and verbal communication skills
Self motivated
Enthusiastic and willing to learn
The ability to work in a team environment and able to work under pressure
