Successful Saudi Project
Heatex have successfully delivered Electric Process heaters for the Saudi Electric Company PP3 Expansion project in Saudi Arabia. The project was the largest undertaken by Heatex during 2004 and consists of 5 x 2800kW Crude Oil heaters and 8 x 970kW Oil Forwarding heaters, all supplied with associated control systems.

Heatex are currently working with Air Products UK with the supply of a 3MW regeneration heater for National Industrial Gases Company, on the Gas Phase II ASU project, Yanbu.
Salman Offshore facilities EPC-2 Project
heatex have been awarded an order for the supply of electric heaters and control systems on two new gas lift platforms on the Salman Offshore project in Iran..
Long Worm?
As Norway's leading Electric Process Heater supplier Heatex are privileged to report a successful tender for a supply contract on another prestigious Norwegian Project, Norsk Hydro Produksjon's onshore terminal, Ormen Lange (Long Worm).
The scope of supply includes 2 x740kW high pressure fuel gas heaters designed for 284 Barg and -46 degrees Celsius, constructed from UNS 831803 duplex, and 2 x 230kW low pressure fuel gas heaters constructed from stainless steel 316L.

Hazardous Area ‘Tea Urn’ has arrived!
We are pleased to announce that our FPU Flameproof Urn is now available with 2-3 weeks delivery. The Urn has a 25 Litre capacity with a 2kW heating element.
ATEX Certified Eex’d’ IIC T4, the FPU provides boiling or warm water for locations that are situated in Zone 1 and Zone 2 Hazardous Areas such as wash rooms in Petrochemical installations, rest rooms on oil jetties, laboratories, chemical plants and offshore installations.

New Flameproof Air Warmer
The arrival of the FWD Hazardous Area air warmer is already proving to be an extremely popular addition to the Heatex range of products.
The FWD is designed for heating small work or storage areas located in Zone 1 or Zone 2 Hazardous Areas and is ATEX certified Eex ‘d’ IIC T2, T3 or T4. Typical applications may include aircraft hangar service bays, chemical plants, offshore installations, battery stores, gas installations, containers, crane cabs etc.
It is available from 500W to 3kW and 110 /240 Volts. The product is currently available in a powder coated mild steel finish. A stainless steel finish will be added to the range shortly. The FWD range is aimed at those familiar with a traditional finned tubular element design concept, and fulfils the requirements of simplicity in installation and operation as well as providing an alternative level of protection to our best selling FAW range.
