Surge in orders from North Sea markets;
During the last trading quarter Heatex has benefited from increased project activity within the North Sea sector. Heatex is proud to provide process-heating equipment to the Talisman, Claymore Import Gas Project, Shell Brent Alpha Upgrade Project and the NAM K8 Compression Project. Investment in the North Sea has been low in recent years and the increased project activity has strengthened Heatex's,position as the leading global supplier of custom engineered electric process heating equipment and controls.
Export orders continue to grow;
Orders from overseas sources are considered the future most specialist UK manufacturing companies and Heatex is no exception. Continued investment in new product certification including Australian Standards, CSA, GOST and FM has seen Heatex manufacturing capability increase dramatically in recent years. Recent projects, for which Heatex Ltd has won orders to supply major equipment include ExxonMobil-Kizomba A, Maersk-As Shaheen, ADMA-OPCO Khuff Gas, AIOC Full Field Development and Shell Nigeria-Cawthorne Channel.
Success in Oman;
In Oman Heatex is proud to be associated with the Salahah and Barka PRT projects. Working with local technical consultants and contracting companies, Heatex are manufacturing 1200kW Direct Electric Gas Heaters to be utilised on these Pressure Reduction Projects.
Potential In Brazil;
Following recent success in various Petrobras Projects, including Baracuda/Caratinga and P50, during March Heatex participated in a UK trade mission to Brazil. Accompanied by HRH Prince Charles, the mission provided the opportunity for UK companies to promote new technologies and products to the Brazilian Oil and Gas sector.
