If not Heatex can help your company prepare for the Worker Protection Directive (99/92/EC), 1st July 2006 deadline.
The directive, also known as ATEX 137, and implemented by the DSEAR regulations in the UK, requires risk assessments to undertaken, to establish whether equipment installed within hazardous areas is safe to remain in operation.
If your equipment is not ATEX 94/9/EC approved it may be the case that it is no longer considered safe for operation within the hazardous area.
In view of this and in line with our on going customer support policy, Heatex is offering to inspect your electric process heaters and advise the required modifications necessary to re-certify the equipment in accordance with ATEX directive 94/9/EC. Even if the equipment is not of our manufacture we can give a fair assesment of it's condition and suitability.
