PETROCHEMICAL
Buzzard
During the 4 th Quarter of 2004, Heatex have completed full supply of electric heaters and associated control systems to CB & I John Brown for the Buzzard project. The Buzzard field is the largest field in the North Sea to be developed within the last 10 years.
The complete equipment supply is as listed:
1) Fuel Gas Heaters: 1 x EEx‘e’ 450 kW 900 lb with thyristor control system and 2 x EEx‘e’, 430 kW 600 lb Fuel Gas Super Heaters with thyristor control System.
2) HVAC duct heating system comprising numerous duct heaters and suitable control system for 7 levels of the QU platform.
3) 2 x 2600 litre calorifier package complete with all instrumentation, heating and controls.
4) 1 x 250 kW EEx‘e’ certified produced water heater manufactured in titanium.
Heatex - Iran 's first choice heater supplier
Following successful contracts on previous phases of the South Pars projects Heatex have been selected for the supply of all electric heaters on the South Pars projects 6, 7 & 8 for the TIJD consortium comprising Toyo, IDRO, JGC & Daelim, and south Pars 9 & 10 offshore gas field development to a consortium comprising LG, OIEC and IOEC.
Heaters supply on South Pars 6, 7 & 8 include, HP EEx‘e’ certified knock out heater bundles, and a 731 kW EEx‘e’ certified fuel gas start up heater with control system, supply on South Pars 9 & 10 include 2 x EEx‘e’ certified fuel gas heaters with control systems, and 4 x EEx‘e’ HP knock out heater bundles with EEx‘d’ certified control systems. The scope of supply also includes EEx‘e’ flow measurement control.
Petrobras P52 Project
Heatex have successfully been awarded 4 x EEx'd' certified, 287 kW removable core type glycol heaters with control systems and 1 x 270 kW EEx'd' 1500 lb certified fuel gas heater on the Petrobras P52 project.
Shell Petroleum Development Company – Odidi Project
In 2001 Heatex supplied glycol and fuel gas heaters along with associated controls to Shell for the Forcados Yokri project in Nigeria. Now in September 2004 Shell awards Heatex the contract to supply a EEx‘e’ certified, 250 kW 1500 lb Duplex fuel gas heater and controls for Odidi, as an Odidi-Forcados Yokri interim gas supply project in Nigeria.

Hazardous Area Anti Condensation / Enclosure Heaters
Since the launch of the HEF range 18 months ago, Heatex has found this heater to be a very popular addition to its range. The heater is used within enclosures to prevent condensation forming. It comes in various power ratings from 25W to 500W. It is ATEX certified EEx‘e’ II T4 and can be supplied in 220/240 or 110V. It uses self regulating cable to ensure a low surface temperature.
