Delegates from Korea visit the EXHEAT office

Watton, UK - In an initiative led by The Department of International Trade (DIT), EXHEAT was delighted to welcome a delegation of prestigious Korean ship-building companies to our Watton manufacturing site. The delegation comprised senior representatives from Samsung Heavy Industries (SHI), Hyundai Heavy Industries (HHI), Daewoo Shipbuilding and Marine Engineering (DSME) and Korea Offshore & Shipbuilding Association (KOSHIPA).

During the visit, which took place on Wednesday 05th September, a morning programme of presentations and networking was held, followed by a tour of EXHEAT’s production facilities. The delegates were able to meet and engage with EXHEAT staff in both the office and the manufacturing plant. To our visitors’ delight, the morning was rounded off with an informal and traditional British lunch of fish and chips.

Mark Jenner, EXHEAT Managing Director, hosted and accompanied the delegation throughout the visit and extended his thanks to the entire EXHEAT team, remarking that the visitors “were very impressed. It was really engaging for each department to provide small demonstrations within their specialization”. Mark Jenner further commented that this had been “a great way to do the factory tour” which he looked forward to seeing adopted for future client visits.

Feedback from the delegates was well received, where visitors noted that EXHEAT has “a very impressive facility” that is “very clean and tidy”. One impressed delegate was compelled to ask of EXHEAT, “How do you maintain such high quality?”

EXHEAT looks forward to the further strengthening of the relationships fostered with SHI, HHI, DSME and KOSHIPA. As a UK based manufacture in the East Anglia region, EXHEAT is proud of its strong dynamic export strategy and welcomes opportunities to work together with DIT in UK Export growth initiatives.
