Hazardous Area Enclosure Heaters
EXHEAT would like to introduce our innovative range of ‘HEF’ enclosure heaters.
The ‘HEF’ range of electric Hazardous area enclosure heaters has been designed for anti-condensation, frost protection and temperature control where control panels and monitoring cabinets are located within Zone 1 & 2 Hazardous Areas. Certified to meet the ATEX Directive 94/9/EC, they are suitable for use where the flammable atmosphere is a Group IIA, IIB and IIC Gas.
The Hazardous area enclosure heater is self-regulating, which means the output reduces as the ambient temperature rises. If an overall enclosure temperature control is required it may be used in conjunction with one of our Flameproof Thermostats. The ‘HEF’ is available in 30W to 500W on 110V or 240V supplies.
Typical applications include control/monitoring panels, instrumentation cabinets, condensation prevention, temperature fluctuations and frost protection. These units are suitable in ambient temperatures -60°C to +80°C.
