IECEx Certified Air Warmers and Enclosure Heaters

EXHEAT expands IECEx certification to include a standard range of Flameproof Air Warmers and Hazardous Area Enclosures.

Our new ‘FWDT’ range of IECEx Certified Air Warmers has been designed for heating small work or storage areas and similar applications, located in Zone 1 or 2 Hazardous Areas, where flammable atmosphere is a IIC group. This new design includes an externally adjustable 0-40°C room temperature control thermostat.

Typical applications for our IECEx Certified Air Warmers are aircraft hanger service bays, fuel servicing areas, chemical plants, offshore installations, battery stores, gas installations, containers and crane cabs. These units are suitable in ambient temperatures -20°C to +60°C.

Our ‘HEF’ range of electric IECEx Certified Enclosure Heaters has been designed for anti-condensation, frost protection and temperature control where control panels and monitoring cabinets are located within Zone 1 & 2 Hazardous Areas.

Typical applications for our IECEx Certified Enclosure Heaters include control/monitoring panels, instrumentation cabinets, condensation prevention, temperature fluctuations and frost protection. These units are suitable in ambient temperatures -60°C to +80°C.
