Case Study: Electric Heaters in Fuel Gas conditioning focusing on Al-Shaheen Field - 18^th March 2008

EXHEAT® using its knowledge and expertise in the design and manufacture of electric process heating equipment, has been successful in winning a number of orders for the Maersk Al-Shaheen offshore installation. Custom designed products were incorporated including but not limited to Fuel Gas Conditioning Systems, Dehydration Systems and Tail Gas Treating Units.

EXHEAT® Introduce their new FWDT Flameproof Air Warmers - 11^th January 2008

Our new ‘FWDT’ range of dual certified IECEx and ATEX Certified Air Warmers has been designed for heating small work or storage areas, located in Zone 1 or 2 and Zone 21 or 22 Hazardous Areas, where flammable atmosphere is a IIC group. This new design includes an externally adjustable 0-40°C room temperature control thermostat.

Typical applications for our ‘FWDT’ Flameproof Air Warmers are aircraft hanger service bays, fuel servicing areas, chemical plants, offshore installations, battery stores, gas installations, containers, paint stores and crane cabs. These units are suitable for ambient temperatures -20°C to +60°C and will soon be available down to ambients of -60°C.

Our ‘FWDT’ Flameproof Air Warmers are available in 500W to 2kW on 110V or 230/254V supplies.

UOP Process Supply - 13^th June 2007

EXHEAT® UOP Process Supply EXHEAT® have successfully delivered a 1586kW UOP heater for the Jamnagar Refinery Expansion Project in India. The three pass heater as shown was supplied certified to EEx'e' to ATEX standards. The pressure vessel, rated at 300lb and 420 Degrees Celsius was supplied in Chromeomoly with a natural finish for completion on site.

EXHEAT® Export into India - 5^th February 2007

Vedanta Skids EXHEAT® one of the world’s foremost designers and manufacturers of electric process heating systems completes manufacture of a 1,500,000.00 USD order for the installation within India. Over recent years there has been consistent reduction in the amount of British manufactured exports but EXHEAT® have consistently reversed this trend; increasing our year on year exports as a proportion of turnover to the current level of 12 Million GBP of which approximately 75% is derived directly from exports.

The recently completed order being supplied to our client for installation in their $1.6bn smelter project in Orissa, India is virtually identical to equipment supplied by EXHEAT® previously for the clients smelter project in Korba, India commissioned during 2004.

The EXHEAT® scope of supply consists of four 1.4MW electric process heaters for heating Heat Transfer Oil, together with associated control systems and two flow control loops. The equipment will be commissioned by EXHEAT® engineers during 2007.
